John 2:5 (NASB)
5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
Good advice from Mary, mother of Jesus!
She was talking about the servants doing what Jesus said to help out with the shortage of wine at the wedding. I think it applies to everything in our lives. Jesus says it, just do it!
We are equipped by God. He calls us and He equips us for the work. Sometimes He supernaturally empowers us, sometimes He wins the victory for us. Always He loves us. Always He is with us. Always.
When our spouse dies from cancer, He is with us. Trust Him. When we are “reduced in force,” He is with us.  Trust Him.

Bill Glass reminds us that God wants us to see with 50:20 vision. Not 20/20? In Genesis 50:20 Joseph speaks to the brothers who first sought to kill him, but then sold him into slavery.

20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.
Their selfish act of jealousy and intolerance led to the salvation of all the Hebrew peoples. I’m not saying to give in to selfishness and jealousy! I am saying that God will use all the things in life for our good. They mean evil, God redeems it for good.

Genesis 50:20  (NASB)

28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Don’t despair. Trust in Him. Lean into Him. Follow Him!
Ask Him to order your steps. Ask Him to fill you to overflowing with His Love and His Spirit. Follow His nudges. Cooperate with His divine appointments.

Romans 8:28 (NASB)

By His Spirit Christ lives in us.  We are a Spirit-filled and directed church. The Greek is Pneumatikon, willingly Holy Spirit controlled. We offer ourselves to Him to guide, teach, direct and empower supernaturally. Strong’s defines it this way, “emanating from the Divine Spirit, or exhibiting its effects and so its character.”

If you have a relationship with Jesus, if He has saved you, you can cooperate with the Kingdom of Heaven and bring it to earth every day.

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”

John 3:16-21 (NASB)

Be God wrought today. Let Him write on your heart His Word of Life. Listen to the whispers of the Holy Spirit. He whispers so you have to concentrate and focus on Him. Do it an live an abundant life.

Just do it!
