I heard today a phrase I want you to consider.

“Come on folks, we’re ‘good news bears.’” Bobby Haney, Wednesday Zoom Prayer Meeting of 1Twenty2 Chuch, Gathering of Friends. He reminds us that we are not “Bad News Bears,” but bearers and sharers of the good news. So, for every negative thing that leaves your mouth about COVID-19, the government, or a negative neighbor, let us come to speak positive, life-giving things to people.

Our class from Nate and Becca on living a prophetic lifestyle taught us to speak life. To see what God sees in people, to see them as He sees them, to love them as He loves them. Ask for words of knowledge and words of wisdom and speak them. Call forth the best in people, which leaves less room for the lesser. Call forth what God has for them, what God has destined for them.

Be good news bearers, bearing forth and sharing forth the good news of Jesus Christ’s work on the cross. How much He loves us and wants the best for others needs to be all that He calls them to be.

Let’s help God, and do our part to call forth the good, the true, the loving, the living and God’s divine prophetic outpouring of grace into people.

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

For You have been my help,
And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.
My soul clings to You;
Your right hand upholds me.

Psalm 63:7-8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Let Him uphold you upholding others. You are loved!
