A message from our superintendent:
Dear North Texas Family,

We are less than one month away from Mid-term elections scheduled for November 6, 2018! We live in a very divided nation, yet the greatest nation on the face of the earth. However, many things impacting our freedom and godly heritage hang in the balance. Every election will affect our future and that of generations of Americans yet to come. My urgent message to you is, “GET OUT AND VOTE!” We must never be cynical, pessimistic, or, even worse, neglectful of our right to stand for our biblically based values and “CAST OUR BALLOT” for what those we believe will lead our nation toward those values.

It our privilege, duty, and sacred right to “VOTE” for leadership concerned about a more righteous America. Proverbs 14:34 says, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” Psalm 33:12, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.” It would be foolish for we, as believers, to close our eyes to the spiritual warfare that impacts what is happening in our nation. There are many different opinions on the major political and spiritual issues of our time. Our churches are more diverse than at any previous time which is a great joy, but also provides potential conflict because of differing opinions on some of these issues. Let us continue to pray for unity among believers, freedom to vote the way we choose, and working together for a godly nation that will be blessed by God! God bless America and God send a mighty visitation of His Spirit to our land!

Blessings,
Dr. Gaylan D. Claunch / Superintendent
