Core Value at our church: We are inclusively multi-generational.

We love our elders and treasure their wisdom and experience.

Proverbs 16:31 says “Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.” (ESV)

We love our children:

Matthew 19:14 (ESV) says “but Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.’”

Another version says, “suffer the children to come unto me.”

An important Core Value at our church is that we love and cherish all demographics. We suffer and sacrifice for each other. We include all, teach all, grow all. Our service projects can be done by young and old, intentionally. Our mission trips include the children and the adults, even to the 4-year-olds. And that takes effort to find trips that let kids come.

It has been written, at Azusa Street’s Revival in 1904 that “the color line was washed away in the blood of Jesus.” Let us use the same mindset and help include all individuals in the church. We must make sacrifices for one another, for Christ, and to raise up the next generations so we may be blessed unto “a thousand generations” (Dt. 7:9).

Pew Pals are needed to help teach and ground the kids in our practice and reasons we do them. Lovingly explaining and coaching the kids is a great service to them and others at the church.

Blessings, Pastor John
